Good car cover for not too much $$$?

You need to let us know where the car will be covered at?? If it is stored inside you can just buy a cheaper cover...but you will want one that is soft on the paint. The walmart ones work kine if you take extra care taking them on and off. If you want to get a $20 walmart one pop the metal or plastic gromets out of the cover to prevent scratches. Now if you keep the car out in the elements I would suggest a NOAH cloth cover such as WOLF. Brother performance sells this brand. It allows the paint to breath and also it's weather proof it's a nice heavy cover. If you just let your car sit in storage and don't take the cover on and off all the time. You need to buy a Flanel car cover. This is very soft but provides no protection from the elements...sun, rain, and snow.

Thanks Joestang. I'm in Texas, so I just need sun protection, not snow. Is the NOAH WOLF cover still the one you recommend? I'll check out "Brother Performance", is that the name of a store?

They are typically all made by a few companies such as Kimberly-Clark. They manufacture the material. If you buy Steeda,Saleen,Roush...your are just buying the name. The Wolf ones that brothers sells are just another name but you will not have Steeda silkscreened on the front of the cover. www.brothersperformance.com
check them out. They have a few diffrent protection levels I believe.

I've used car covers for the last 15 years on a car I keep in the driveway in the hot New Orleans sun. My favorite so far has been Cover Craft's Noah. They fit well, are easy on the paint and are durable. I bought cheap covers that have fallen apart in less than 2 years. The Noahs have lasted 5+ years for me.

OK after looking around some it looks like NOAH is the way to go. Both Wolf and Covercraft make one. Anyone know if one is better than the other? Thanks for all the help.
