I was just thinking how beneficial it would be if somebody posted a sticky in the Tech section on power adders. I mean I know there's this one: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=246291 but I was looking for something more general. For example: in the thread it can have something like Longtube Headers (8-10 rwhp)
Pros:
Cons:

3.73 gears (0 rwhp)
Pros:
Cons:

Has this been done before? I would do it myself by I'm not experienced/tech savy enough.

there would be too much debate in it for a sticky, and FYI power adder usually means forced induction

It doesn't have to be exact just general estimates. Something that newbies to the modding business (like me) will have an idea on what to buy for their stangs.

It's a different car=different results kind of thing. The thread would only be there to get your hopes up in most cases, only to smash you in the face with reality later when your cold air intake really didn't bring the advertised 20 horsepower, even with the tornado installed.

Yeh.

Everyone makes fun of ricers because they think they gain 10 from a K&N filter, 10 from a different intake tube, 10 from a muffler, 10 from an exhaust tip... because someone told them so.

Instead of a sticky, how about an entire forum called "power adders"?
