woohoo new pcv valve stuff came in the mail today. screen grommet and valve itself. never had a grommet in there before. interested to see what it runs like without a vacuum leak. goin to work in an hour, putting the stuff on tomorrow. hopefully ordering my birthday parts soon too. i turn 18 on the 16th.

thinking about getting (all from latemodelresto)
-slotted stock sized rotors and pad combo for the front (need new pads and rotors anyways) and ill prolly get the fluid flushed too
-door lock actuator and doorpannel clip combo. dont feel like doing the custom thing (jrichker's mod) yet, afraid id mess it up.
-door lock switches
-shift boot to cover tranny, casue i tore the stock one when installing the mgw = 3rd gear whine
-door to body weatherstripping and new door pins and bushings
-cigarette lighter (mine has an attitude)

sound ok? im trying to get the anyonying little junk out of the way before i get my posi rebuild and gears and subframes in. i mainly want to know if this brake thing is okay, i want to stop a little better. should i spend my own money and get stainless steel lines while im at it?

this is the brake thing iwas gonna get let me know what you think of it:
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/iwwida.pvx?;item?item_no=SS-A2360005 1&comp=LRS
I dont want them to warp or eat my pads up, should i just get stock rotor replacements and different pads? are those pads in that kit okay?

thanks.

Those brakes are a bit expensive for what you get.

These http://www.ajusa.com/cgi-bin/stores...f&session_id=24dab0e33dc6cf5777f60941ddcb8571
and a set of hawk pads from maximum motorsports (or somewhere else) will be cheaper.

If your looking to upgrade your stock brakes you might want to look into Maximum Motorsports Brake Upgrade kit....I put it on and am very happy with it.....The car seems to stop much better.

I dont think thats a pic of the exact rotors you would get, the ones you get will have the hat.

I forgot about that, that + some slotted rotors would help quite a bit
