good news regarding licensing/emissions tests/ po boxes

I just got the tabs for my '87. I used the Enumclaw address (not a po box) I always used. It seems that the law, as written, has some flaws. People living on the peninsula have only po boxes with no delivery, so law-makers were subjected to many justified protests. The law in question is currently "on hold". Get those tabs while you can!

Did they ask to see your ID (drivers license)?? If so did they have you fill out the 2nd address form do to the different address? I think its just a PO Box thing.

They asked for an ID since I had only the registration and not the tab renewal form. I showed them an ID from work, and bought my tabs. It was that simple. Just like the process has been prior to this year. Like I wrote above, the new law is not in effect, at present.
