I did the SN95 Conversion and it adds 3/4" per side, I actually like the look of the tires being pushed out slightly as it makes the stance so much nicer than the sucked in look of the stocker.

I believe the ranger axles are the same length as the stock fox axles, and are 5 lug.

Otherwise, Moser has what you need...but going to cost a little more than a junkyard.

5.0 Resto has a complete 5 lug conversion kit that locates everything in the original position for $400. Kit includes axles, drums, rotors, seals, bearings, friction modifier and 3 quarts of gear oil.

this is the kit i used..install was insanely simple and i am happy with it.

this kit is almost purely cosmetic tho. you still retain the ****ty fox braking power and the front has large dust caps like the stock 4 lug and this prohibits the use of certain wheels unless you use a spacer and then the wheels will stick out anyway [with the spacer that is]

use sn95 setup with better brakes and just solve any fitment issues with proper backspacing, which i sont know much about lol...

cheap conversion!!

buy two drivers side axles out of a late 80's early 90's ranger, bronco, or aerostar van. note you need both driverside because the passenger side is 3 inches shorter. Also even if it is the shi** 7.5 inch rear its on the 28 spline will work just fine. the simply replace the mustng 4 lug with no problem no mods. now for the front. buy new rotors or take rotors off the same truck/van and use the same pads and calipers only drop the mustang bearings into the new rotors. oh and get the physical drums off the rear same thing only with 5 lugs use same shoes

Not exactly correct. From the Aerostar you use the Passenger side axles. They were a lot easier to find around here. The Ranger rotors will only work with the 79-86 cars and the 87-93 4 cyl spindles. The Mark VII or SVO front rotors fit the 87-93 V8 spindles. And make sure the rear drums are the 9" ones as some of the trucks and vans have 10" rear drums.
