Hey guys. Im sellin my 01 Cobra Vert (85mm CNL, o/r hpipe, flows, php intake spacer) for a 2001 Z06. I wanted an 03 Cobra over a Z06 at first but my dad was like, "i dont want another damn ford. we're done with them. i want all out power." at first i tried to talk him into at least driving an 03 but today i went with him to drive an 01 Z06 (385hp, 385 lb/ft. 3100lbs) and there is no turning back now. I am never looking at mustangs again, even though i have had a 99 v6 vert, 2000 GT (4.10s, prochamber, etc). I am now a fan of Chevy and am soon picking up that baby. I have never driven an 03 but this car would not stand a chance against this light as a feather z06. i just wanted you guys input on my decision and was wondering what kinda times this bad boy was throwin up. (before i get flamed, wouldnt you take a z06 over a MUSTANG???) i mean when people see an 03 cobra they think.... mustang, oh yeah my aunt suzie has one of those. but when you see a vette, you see 50 years of american legacy.

i personally would take a Z06 over a Cobra, but you better watch out with cockyness. it's so easy to make a Cobra faster than a Z06 it's not even funny.

As far as picking a vette over a mustang? Nahh. Been there, done that. The vette was nice, but I didnt like not having a back seat #1, and #2, always felt like I had to babysit it wherever I went, kinda like it was one of my kids! PLus, it really wasnt comfortable, felt like I was in a damn spaceship. The cobra blends in better, most people think its just another mustang - which is fine with me. Much more comfortable too. I have right now in my back seat my 2 yr old son's carseat believe it or not! Its a priceless moment too when Vette people hear that sick-a$$ Eaton whine going flying by them while spraying them with rubber from losing traction - just makes my day. Sorry for the rant here - still a nice fast American car you picked. Least you didnt switch over to a Ricer.

First off let me say congratulation on the new car. You pony pssys could only dream about driving a car with real balls. I'll admit stangs are nice for "starter" cars but when you are ready to get into the real horse power bracket everybody know you jump into a chevy. 
Lets get real with it when you think Mustang you think Mostly Used Shit That Aint No Good but when you think Corvette, you think badazz, pssy getting, tire squealing, get in and buckle up car. Your stangs no matter how bad ass you may think they are will never earn or have the rep a vette does. Why don't you compare what the Z06 costs compared to the Cobra? When you spend all that extra cash on your Enzyte didn't work for me Corvette and you still are just running neck and neck with a stock Cobra how does that make you feel? And then a Cobra owner spends a few extra bucks and owns your Z06 and then you bitch it isn't stock? We'll the Cobra guy still spent less than you did for the Z06 for his Cobra and mods. Maybe if you didn't have those expensive Propecia and Enzyte perscriptions you could afford to keep up.
