I've noticed that for the last couple mornings that when I start my car up, all four of my dash dummy light (coolant, gas, etc) blink. It's really cold out, and I dont think Ive noticed this when it is warm out. WTF? I start up my car, sit in it for like 1 min, go inside for 15min and when I come out they stopped blinking.... It has never done this except for the last few cold mornings.

I see you have the 2.95 1st gear, mine supposedly has it and the .054 (or w/e its called) 5th gear which i no it has. Whats the 1st gear like, its supposed to rev out longer right? cuz mine seems like its the opposite(real short) but i really dont no anyone with stock t-5 with 373s so i cant compare with anyone. Can you tell a difference or anything

Diddle, yes I do have the 2.95 1st gear. I made sure to express that I wanted a differnt gear ratio for my new tranny because I knew Id be going with 4:10s. This is what my tranny shop gave me and said would work best.

As for the car, I notice that Im able to get alot higher rpms related to speed compared to a few friends of mine. I have a friend who has almost the same setup and he cant even use 1st gear in normal driving as where I can. Most people who get 4:10s complain of 1st gear being useless. My friend's car, once you mash it in 1st gear you have to expect to shift or you'll redline, there just isnt any room for you to stay in it. With me, I mash it and have a comfortable amount of time untill I need to shift. If you have drivin a car with and without the 2.95 and 4;10 you can tell there is something waaay differnt. Sound like to me, you do not have the 2.95.

sounds like I dont have it, especially since I only have 373's, at least thats what i was told so who knows what I really got ...When im in first gear, i can spin the tires in a heartbeat (actually hard not to spin), also doesnt help having crappy tires either, if i take off slow at first, i think i can get up to 30mph or something like that....but at an idle (800rpm) in 1st gear, its going like 6mph...

I dont care, it gets me around, as long as it doesnt start grinding 2nd any more im happy
