Hello,New Member/Owner here.
I recently purchased an '01 Bullitt with only 9k miles. It has a few Mods already..
Steeda Timing adjuster
Steeda Underdrive Pulleys
Hooker L/T Headers
Pro chamber Hi-Flow Cats H-Pipe
Magnaflow Catback Exhaust
Mac Cold Air Intake
Pro 5.0 Shorty Shifter
4.10 gears
Ford Racing Alum Driveshaft
Maximum Motorsports Lower Control Arms
Maximum Motorsports Panhard Set-up
this week i'm getting 18x10 Bullitt Replica Wheels and BFG 295 DR's
Do you guys think a high 12 sec. 1/4 is possible?
I'm in Phoenix,Az,running @ Firebird Raceway,elev 1700'
Track prep is usually pretty good.I also Own a fairly well Modified HD-f150 Supercrew [Supercharged]441 RWHP,540 RWTQ
It runs 12.8's @ 106 with cosistant 1.70 60' times.
Thanks for any input!

will be close....but not with the bigger wheels

scrap the mac cai
get soem d/r's and take a shot at it

If I'm not mistaken, those bigger wheels are gonna be put on some DR's. Nice car though, I agree, and about the 1/4 times, I don't really know as I am not that experienced on the track. Good luck.

You think the 18"s will hurt, even though i'll be running the wider DR's?
I thought as long as the overall aspect height was the same it wouldn't make much difference.I guess they are a little heavier than the 17's.

Yes the 18's will definately hurt you on the track. First off, you''ll lose a noticable amount of sidewall, plus you'll add weight, plus you'll add inertia by moving the rim out from its center (adding a larger rim).

If you go with a 15" rim and a set of BFG DR's you'll DEFINATELY be in the 12's assuming you can drive the car properly.
