Well all the persistence payed off and I got the job that I've wanted for over a year! I'll be working at KMCA, an architectural model and prototyping firm in New Haven, and I'll be living in the Westville area. So who lives up there and what is there to do mustang wise...meets, shows, auto-x events, etc. Just wanna see what's up in the area. I need things to keep me busy on the weekends while I'm getting settled into the area.

I'm in Mass. Used to live right on the CT border. I LOVE living here.

We just got 20 inches of snow since this morning! State of emergency = Day off = Gran Turismo 5 and PBR =

Mustang is safely garaged away until spring

I drove through CT once and hated every second of it, their traffic jams are really weird I thought. Get a place with a garage, the snow in New England is MEAN this time of year

Thanks guys! Yea, I know what you mean about New England winters Good thing I have my brothers lifted Wrangler to use, at least for this winter. I'm not getting paid well because its a starting position, but soon I'd like to get a beater Cherokee, rattle can it with bedliner spray, throw some big tires on it, and be done with it. They are great in the snow, and my commute is only 5 miles which is awesome.

The babygirl is sittin' pretty under its cover for the winter until it gets warm out, or at least until all the snow/salt is gone

CT is not bad in the spring, summer and fall. Last summer we had 38 days above 90 and a week in the 100s. We have the 2 largest Casinos in the world and they are fun to visit. Also we have a some good beaches to go to. As for mustangs you are in luck. We have the largest mustang club in NewEngland and we are one of the Largest clubs on the East Cost. We have a 2 hour spring cruise and usually get close to 100 mustangs to go on it. We have lots of club events, check out the club Late Model Mustang Club of Connecticut.

Here is a short video of the 2008 cruise.

Another video of club mixed events over the years.

Last year we started in Walingford and drove up to Bethel CT. Its a fun day trust me. The next club car show will be in April at Hoffman Ford in East Hartford. The last car show we had I think 170 cars showed up. The sales manager of Hoffman Ford is in are club and has built 07GT. Also there is marks cruise night (none club show) that is by Bradly Airport every Monday night in the summer and around 500 different cars show up to that.

Also on Sundays from Mother's Day to Labor Day, there is a place in Derby, CT about 15 minutes from Westville right on RT 34 (a main road) called Heavnl'y Donuts that has a fun cruise night. It is open to all makes/models/years but most weeks they get a lot of cars and many Mustangs. Plus they have great coffee

Congrats on the job and good luck with the move.
