do you think I can take the front and back bumper off and just have them painted, and it all still match?
The pait is faded but is nice all around, there was a big plauqe on the back from some dealer in the early 90's I took that off and you can tell the paint color differance, so I cant just have it shot with the factory color...
anyone know?
oohh heres your pic
Flashlight and Penny !!
got the miles up since the last time it was filled. Oil has reciepts from Firestone for oil and regular maintance since 93 as well
In order to repaint the bumpers right and have them match perfectly, you gonna have to take the bumpers and extensions off and blend the color into the fenders, hood, and rear quarters and at that point you might as well re clear the doors, side skirts and the truck lid. If you just paint the bumpers they wont match. I do body work for a living and we never have a perfect match to "panel" paint (to not blend). Blending the color is the only way to make it look perfect.
yeah I was going to just repaint the bumpers but now Ill probably wait a year or two to see what Im gonna do with the car, honestly most of the car is perfect maybe 2 or 3 other spots that need paint attention
