Got a wierd popping noise not sure what it is

I got a wierd popping noise coming from under the car sounds kinda like the body flexing to me, but I have no clue! It mainly does it when im takin off from a stop and when im shiftin gears......also does it when I hit some bumps. It sounds to me kinda like its comin from the tranny area but I'm not really sure. Anyone know what this could possibly be? or what I need to check?

Sounds like a busted tranny mount to me. I had a popping/knocking noise from underneath mine when I'd take off, occasionally when hitting a bump, but it didn't do it shifting gears.

Well the tranny mount was fine about a month ago when I had to replace my clutch! Actually when I first got it back together for a while I was not hearing the noise then it came back a few days ago and its buggin me!!!!

Had this same problem. Turned out that when Ford did some warranty work on my tranny they didn't properly tighten down the bolts from the tranny to the tranny mount. The bolts fell out and caused the problem.

check the trans mounts.. and all other mounts liek the rear suspension.. and if all of those are ok.. check the tourqe boxes... those are where the rear control arms conect toot he body.. sometimes they rip away..
