Well after deciding on a which hood i really wanted i finally got one 3 weeks ago,and finally got it painted on monday.
It's the Steeda "Q 400" louvered hood.I always liked it since i first saw it on the Q 400 mustang, but wasn't sure for my stang.Glad i went with it.The fit and finish is perfect,101% .It's not to tall of a cowl, and fits the image i am trying to keep.Subtle, but yet aggressive..it think anyways LOL!!
What do you guys/gals think!!??
Before paint.

After paint.

Definatly looks good man!

My suggestion is to fulfill the "meaner" look. The stock 17X8s out back look very whimpy....IMHO 17x10.5 would really fill it out .

But anywho....is the hood finctional? Again congrats!

Looks good man

I agree with hotmustang. A set of deep dishes in the back will really set it
off. Either way still looks good.

Car looks sick. I think part of it is the absence of the pony and fog lights...Dunno if that was the plan... but I like it.

Thanks for the comments guys.Part of my choice in hoods was to be different then everyone else aswell, plus the fact i already liked the hood.I like the standard cowl ,or "R" hood, but going threw all the pics on various sites, every stang in the different pics shared that same style,or similar cowl hood .So that help in my discision
Plans are to have some deep dish bullitts, maybe next year.

I hate to tell you this but they didnt match the color to well

Do they make something like that without the louvers?

Yeah,it is a tad lighter, but depending on the lighting. But can't complain as Silver is a pain in the ars to match. They wanted to blend into the fenders for this reason. The metallics, and pearls make it hard for them to match exactly, but it is really close, and i'm happy, plus i didn't want to blend into the fenders just incase one day i want to put the stock hood back on and it wont match properly .
Thanks again for the compliments!!!!

Looks great! Also, nice to see a gt w/o the fogs. I was thinking about getting rid of them but didn't know if it would look ok. Definately does.
