:D

Well I finally got it back together and tuned yesterday! Powerhouse Automotive did the tune on their 'lowballing' Mustang dyno.

Car made 296 rwhp 315 rwhp

aaaaaaannd, im 99% sure I've the wrong length push rods :bang: (on the long end)

was climing, but they were only twisting it to like 5200 cause of valvetrain noise

So, theres prolly a little left in it :nice:

Anyhow, thought I'd share. I'll put up the graph tommorow...just got some wrench work to be done tonite :nonono:

Stock 302, AFR 165s, FRPP 1.6, TFS .498/.510, Edel Performer 5.0 u/l, 75mm TB, 75mm MAS, 24#, 190, LTs/X, pullies, CIA, areomotive reg, aly driveshaft....few other tidbits...

Oh...and 2:73s :(

congrats man. change that pushrod length and maybe squeeze out that magic 300. still tho, nice numbers!

btw- your car is one of my fav on stangnet. SWEET

Thanks guys! I've got 3:73s in a box...they just need put in :P

I checked the geometry tonite, I need to run the stock pushrod length. SO, I drove to summit and got the hardened FRPP 6.272's and took out the Crane hardened-moly 6.375's. It wasn't terrible, but the line scribed on the valve was fatter and favoring the exhaust side of the head. With a stock sized rod the line was slim, defined, and dead center....so I guess all you AFR 165 studmount guys, run a stock length with ford 1.6's heh.

They'll be in tommorow. I got home late and stopped by the g/f's and gave her a little pink summit t-shirt :)

Thanks fiveoho! I really appreciate it!

Few pics of the setup...plastic 'shroud cover' wasnt on in these..enjoy!

Looking at your C&C plates:shock: . Mine appear to be identical except that you have yours rotated 90* and left to right reversed from mine. Just checked with my installation guide and mine are shown as being correct. Oval cutout running front to back not side to side like yours. Notice also in the install guide your orientation is correct for 79-93 mustangs. Just curious. Anyone else notice this:shrug: .

Interesting...I honestly believe I had them correct per included instructions, but I will check again tommorow. FWIW, its not exactly 'bad' it just won't offer the levels of adjustment if incorrect. I'll double check tommorow.

Good eye if thats true! :)
