I found a good deal froma member on this site for some H&R springs. Used but still springs. $50 + S&H (Which was $30) So $80, but not bad for them. I cant wait to finally get rid of my 4X4 stance. How much do these lower the car. I think they say like 2.5 but Ive heard more like 2.

And so I need to get some caster/camber plates now?

You don't NEED c/c plates, but they do help.

I love mine. Ride is better than stock. But I put in new shocks & struts, too.

I would recommend getting the plates before the install. The drop these springs give you will almost require you to get plates in order to align it properly.

My recommendation (a bit biased, lol) would be to get THESE or THESE.

They extremely great quality & allow the car to be aligned very easily. Plus, they're a 4-bolt design.

the springs will be great

ive heard yes and no about the cc plates. if you have the money get them, if not dont worry about it now. i dont have them on my car, but i dont drive it enough to wear the tires down or anything and the alignment is good enough. if you drive it a lot, get the plates

I have the sportlines, and the ss seem to drop the car a bit more. I drive my car everyday and don't have the c/c plates. It does help out, but if you don't have the cash, don't worry about them at this time. And if you do, well might as well get them.

The webiste with them says this.

These plates have such good adjustment that they even have over double the adjustment range of the stock plates.

2 times 0 is still 0 if Im correct. This must be a mistake. lol

The stock plates do have some slop. What Danny is saying is that it's useless slop. You'd have to slot the strut tower to allow the stock plates to move where you'd need them. When you have the stockers jammed into the corner of their holes, that essentially makes them non-adjustable (in terms of allowing you to dial-out neg camber and get adjust meaningful caster).

It's kinda like my seat track - sure it's adjustable. But I have it jammed through the rear-most adjustment and my knees still hit the dash. Adjustable, but not functionally adjustable for me.
