So coming home from my buddies house the other night, well actually like 1:30 in the morning and my other friend who was driving behind me pulls up next to me at a stop light on his way back to his house. He starts acting like an ass and starts revving his car at me so I just laugh and rev back as I come to a stop. Rev the car up to about 5000 RPMs just to be an ass and the next thing I know the light turns green. Stupid me isn't really looking at the tach and completely ignores the fact the my exhaust is screaming and I let out the clutch. Next thing I know the car jumps off the line and the rears light right up and the car screams up the road about 30ft. With traction control on mind you. I dunno but the car was spinning so hard that the traction control just cut out after like 3 seconds.

Now as Im going up the road Im looking all over the place for the cops in my town that usually hide near these set of lights. My buddy pulls off at his turn and I keep going up the road thanking god that I pulled off that moronic move scot free... Or so I thought... The next thing I know I see a car come ripping up the road and Im like "Oh sh1t!" the car passes and its just a mini van. Whew that was close. Then all of a sudden I see the blue lights and sure enough you know what happens next. Went through the whole routine cop comes back and hands me my license and is like "nice ride have a good night". I didn't ask any questions I just got the hell out of there and I was damn lucky that I didn't get a ticket or ruined my rear end because traction control was on. Sorry for the length but I was psyched. Lol.

Hah, man consider yourself lucky.

I got pulled one night for my licence plate lights being burned out. I didn't know about that. It was at that point I also got busted for tint, the second time in two weeks...

Yeah I was REALLY lucky. But it was a local cop and they are usually pretty cool about stuff. But if it was a statey he would have wrote me a ticket with no second thoughts.

Yeah we have a big mix of them around here.

Doesn't matter what dept. they are with. State, county, city, some are cool and some are just on an ego trip.

Have to be more careful. Good thing you and your buddy didn't decide to have a short little race.

Yup some cops are cool. I once got on the gas from a stop light not burning the tires or anything just a nice hard acceleration. I passed a cop that was waiting to catch people behind a tree. I was doing 50 in 35 and both cops gave me the thumbs up out there window. I also cruise at 80 on the highway and the speed limit is 65 I have had many times a cop come up behind me because he is cruising at 85-90, I just pull into the next lane let them pass then get behind them. I have had the chef in our town follow me before, I started randomly going down streets to see if he would follow and he did until he got tired of it and went his own way. I do know one of the state cops is in our mustang club and a few other town cops are in the club. I think a lot of them like muscle cars.
