Well, I got my emt-b this past nov and now i'm getting ready to start fire school.

I just started to vol at TCFR esd-11.

Well on my first shift tuesday night we got called to a structure fire. We were firt on scene and man it was hot and hard work but it was so much fun. And man there was so much crap exploding like paint cans etc.

Why don't you guys come to Oklahoma. Our entire state is on fire, but since we're not Cali, it won't be on any TV. We have a bunch of wildfires ripping through thousands of acres of land right now. Homes, cattle, state buildings, etc. We haven't had rain in like 3.24589 years it seems like, and we've had 20-40 mph winds on/off for the last couple weeks. We're not even allowed to use charcoal grills right now ($1,000 fine).

Sounds like the people that say they are NASCAR fans but only watch it for the crashes.

Technically, NOT the g/f but ok. She just kind of... watched or had some input, we will say. So no more finger shaking, BRANDON.

We are having alot of fires here too. I know every time i go in we will probably have a fire.

You can't even weld out side right now. it's a fine.

Ah, I see. Yeah, we can't weld either. No welding, grilling (charcoal or gas now), burning trash, camp fires, etc. Their even enforcing the law with people throwing cigarette butts out their window (tickets). The news last night said that there had been 77 fires put out in the last 6 days. Today it's going to be 72 degrees, with a 25 mph South wind, and they can't see any chance of rain coming for atleast the next two weeks . We were 14" below normal for 2005, and haven't seen a drop yet in 06. It looks like "Green country" may turn into "Brown/black country".
