How long did it take you on this motor?

Well, sold the AFR fti combo'd 302 in June I believe. Started with this around then. I've never done a complete motor, so I had a friend put it together (didnt want to f-it up and ruin something) I've worked weekends and scrimped everywhere I could to get it to this point. Right now it's waiting on a carburetor then hopefully to the engine dyno before march. Should make around 575-625fwhp and similiar torque #'s. Been a long wait without the car all summer, but should be more than worth the sacrifice 3000-3100lbs/w driver making 500+ rwhp with a stick Everything was done right too fwiw, if I didnt have the money to buy the right part, I waited until I did. Once the dyno is done, I need to pick up a cat back and x pipe, fuel system, msd box, and a hood. Then it's time to motor

Thanx man I didnt want to scrimp on ANYTHING, even now that money is tighter than when I started I wont cheap out on whats left. I wont regret it. A good lesson learned from my engine builder and MANY of you fellow stangnetters
