Hi Monk, I know what they are, but what do the numbers mean? I mean, I know it's not an arbitrary number that someone just said "843...this car looks like an 843"......"One cigarette per car, this is my 843rd cigarette"..."843 more cars until I go on vacation, next one will be 842 more cars until my vacation"...It must mean something. That's what I'm trying to find out.
Are you a member on www.vintage-mustang.com ? There tends to be more concourse type poeple on there, whereas alot here are modified mustang guys (just a generalization). You may have better luck on there, as alot of MCA Judges are members there. I do know that they are hard to decifer, and seem to vary between plants and years. HTH
