Ive been reading this forum for quite some time and thought it was about time i joined. I got my 66 HT a few years ago. Its an export model (6T07A) and has been in Sweden since it was new. It has suffered somewhat over the years and since ive got it, ive had to swap out a number of things to make sure she runs. Sadly, ive so far driven it very little as opposed to tinkering with it. Being a nordic country and me not having a proper garage, im limited to times of above freezing to fiddle with my ride.
So far ive added seatbelts, new front brakes and calipers, renovated the T4 (man trans), new starter, new generator, new pickup in tank etc etc etc....
Funny fact is that together with Finland (neighbour country), Sweden has one of the highest density of older US cars in the world outside the US. That means that getting hold of used autoparts is fairly easy, thank goodness.
