I just recently purchased a 1-owner 2007 GT with 51K. This is my second Mustang, with my first being an 89 LX 5.0. The '07 is equipped with 3.55 gears and came with the Pony Package. It is Silver with the Silver interior(pics coming).
To date the '07 has had the following mods installed:
Kooks Headers
Pypes O/R X-pipe
Pypes "The Beast" exhaust
Steeda Billet CMCP delete plates
Hurst Shifter
FRPP CAI
Tokico HP struts/shocks
Eibach Sportline Springs
BMR Adj. Panhard Bar
American Muscle FR500 17x9 wheels(Black with polished lip)
Continental Extreme Contact DWS P255/45 ZR17
Bama Tunes SF3/X3 Tuner running 91 octane/w deletes tune
For the past few years I've been riding my Bike(2007 Suzuki Boulevard C-90) on weekends for enjoyment. I've made several trips to the Tail of the Dragon on the bike, but decided I wanted to get me a Mustang and set it up for some good old corner carving. So far I've made two trips to the Dragon and I'm really enjoying the way this car handles with the suspension mods.
My next mods will be done in the next couple of days with the addition of the Grand Design Mat Trunk Lid mat(Mirrored GT with black line). I also have a set of the lighted sill plates from a 2010 GT that I ordered from Newtakeoff.com....which brings me to my question:
The lady at NTO told me that she came upon a forum post where someone had retrofitted the lighted sill plates from a 2010 and was able to make use of all the colors on an earlier model(without the mycolor sill plate adjustability). I've tried searching this website to no avail, and I need some help with either a wiring diagram, or a link to the retrofit post for information(if anyone has it).
