Ground wire for Amp

For you guys that have an aftermarket amp in the trunk. Where did you drill the hole to screw the ground wire into? I want to make sure I don't drill into the gas tank. The car's a 97 GT.

on my 2000 i just used one of the bolts that is where the rear seats fold down

I just drilled a small pilot hole into the wheel well and used a low profile self tapping screw to hold the wire

never drilled, just taked it to a bolt.
