Ground Wires

I'm being told that my ground wires need to be replaced. I've got one guy telling me to get some 4-0 gauge wire and make it myself and another telling me to order the wiring from the dealer or similar. Lead me in the right direction guys.

Which ground wire? Be more specific.

Frankly I would think the answer would depend upon your abilities. It's certainly easier to buy cables already put together for your car.

Also possible to make your own assuming that you know what you are doing. It's also possible to waste a lot of expensive copper if you don't.

Not sure which one, all I know is the cars gauges are telling me I have a loose connection and the car will only start when jumped.

Sounds like bad battery cables and/or bad battery to me.
