Has anyone install GT 500 fuel pumps in a 03 GT? This is for a friend, he ran his SVT focus pump dry and needs a bigger pump. What is invovled with putting the pump in? Do you need a new FPDM? Thanks for the help!
running it dry? he must have failed to drill basket, and he must have stuffed the sock that came with it in the stock basket. can't pump what it can't suck.

I couldn't see any way to make the focus basket fit in the GT tank... you take the innards out of the Focus and swap it into the GT basket... that could be the problem.

He said that it clipped in the tank like the GT basket did. He said that he just cut the wire to the focus fuel hat and swapped it with the GT fuel hat.
