I am looking to remove the GT badges on the front fenders of my 06 GT. I am hoping to find somebody that has removed them (or replaced them with something else) that knows if there are any holes behind the badges.

Thanks in advance for your time.

an easy search on the forum would reveal numerous ways to remove them. the most common consisting of a plastic scraper and a heat gun.. and yes there are holes behind the badge..

I replaced mine with the pony package ones, there are two allignment holes in each fender, the enblems have allignment pins on the back. Just heat them up with a hair dryer, you can use fishing line to run behind them or I used dental floss. Pull the badges off and clean the adhisive off the fender, they are stuck on the 3M tape.

well i mean no offense but i am sure i am not the only one who finds it very hard to continue to view these forums unless you like the redundant CAI, Exhaust or Rim/tire combo question that usually has been asked hundreds of times before. Can i get an AMEN!

I wasn't offended, but if you re-read my question, I asked if there were holes behind the emblems, not how to remove them.

I tried the search to determine if there were holes behind the 2005+ GT emblems, but I came up empty. Perhaps you can recommend some search criteria that would yield the result I was looking for??

My apologies - I was using the search term "badges" instead of "emblems" - that's why I didn't come up with anything. I may be new to this forum, but I am not new to forums in general - I used the search, but came up with nothing.

Donno if you're still looking for replacements - but Steve over at Billet Badges does some amazing work, some custom, some pre-made - and is EXTREMELY reasonable on pricing. I had some badges made for my truck (a 4x4 F-250) and once I get a stang will have him make me some matching customs

Best of luck.
