So My 96 gt's suspension is shot and i want to upgrade.
I had the eibach on back order from summit but am considering going with the bullit suspension. dose anyone have any experiance on wich way to go? i hear the eibach is great on the flat but you feel every bump and that the bullit rides like a dream but herd thie anti sway and roll arent up to the task . i live in newengland so thiers alot of pot holes but i want the better performance as im going to do a complete pi swap cams exhaust and gears ect .
p.s
Im putting in the cobra controll arms and brakes. should i put the cobra packeg in

I too have the same question.

From what I've read, if you want a decent ride, go with the Eibach Pro-kit springs and Tokico HP series shocks/struts. The Tokicos are a good bit cheaper ($125) than the Eibach shocks/struts. Apparently, the Eibach shocks/struts are relatively stiff.

But I want to hear other's opinions as well, as suspension is probably going to be my next mod.

Im hearing the same thing .I know im Going to replaces all the bushings and boots ect with energy suspension. herard thier the best to go with and that the black bushing have gryphit. thanxs for the tip ill look into it

I have Mach 1 springs (same thing as Bullit but 1/2" drop). My experience is if you want a great handling car keep the original sway bars (30 mm F and 23 mm R) but the ride will be rough. Since you have a lot of potholes and if you want a nice ride install the Bullit sway bars (28 mm and 21 mm). I removed the original swaybars and installed V6 sway bars (27 mm and 21 mm) for a much smoother ride but now I have a little body roll, but it's a compromise. I don't care for a lowered car since the ride sux and I hate scraping on everything so 1/2" drop is good for me. One thing is for sure, if you don't have those 600 lb springs in the front you will have considerable "brake dive" with those front Cobra brakes. Also get some SFC's installed since they are fairly cheap and stiffen up the frame considerably. If you get the Bullit kit and want to get rid of the front 28 mm sway bar let me know.

The bullitt kit is cheaper and the springs in it feel great (similar if not the same as my FRPP C springs). Either one will work fine but the FRPP system might have a little more give.

thanks for all the help looks like ima go with the frrp kit it seems like a good all over choice . what mostly mad up my mind was the spring rating and mel96gt;s comment about "brake dive" . i live near an hug industrial park .(Great place for testing mods and handling and alot safer then the on the streets . especally if you live wre thir is snow and you want to test how well your ride handles "Rant' )
and found out it sucks hard and the eibach are only rated around 300 deal breaker . if need be ill eventully upgrade the sways .

Im not sure what you plans are with your car but Im running the full QA1 front kit. it is completely adjustable caster/camber the shock pressures can be adjusted from full road race to full drag race without changing the shock ride height is adjustable as well. you can raise/lower the car to your taste. not set drops like everybody else's. you will shed 50-60 lbs as this replaces everthing but the swaybars. brake dive is gone handling is awesome-Had a police officer state how it took him a while to catch me through some S-turns (Speed limit 35 I was doing 70). I got the kit from RPM Outlet for 1225 at the time i bought it but it is available just about every major/mustang company on the internet.

when i saw your post i was wicked confused. so i looked into it and found a couple places are calling it the Ford Racing "Bullitt" Handling Kit for 99-04 Ford Mustangs . but if you read on in the descrip "Ford Racing has introduced a performance handling kit similar to the one that came on the Bullitt. The kit includes increased rate mustang springs, antiroll bars, shocks and struts tuned for use with this package"
so i guss its not the bullit kit but close and with springs like the c's " Front 600LB and Rear 250 LB. LOWERS 94-98 VEHICLES 1" i am ok with that
