gt door moulding location

does anyone have a measurement or good picture that shows where exactly the gt door mouldings go?

look at my sig and click the link for my 88GT it has lots of pics. The moulding should go towards the back of the door more to prevent binding on the front when the door is open...

thanks guys. thanks roland thats great advice.

thats the way i did almost after i posted the question i put it more towards the back just that the front seem alittle weird like its maybe about 1/4-1/2 of an inch away from the door line on the front side
but that seems to be the way it goes

I looked at mine today thinking about this post and the back almost goes flush with the back lip of the door and there is like 3/8-1/2 inch of gap between the front fender extension and the door moulding. Did you get yours on with any luck. how did it turn out

coo sounds about how mine is. yea i managed to get it on there i will post some pictures later today and you can check it out and let me know if it looks about right

aight man i took some pics with my cell phone here they are let me know if that looks ok. it doesnt go all the way to the back or front as u can see in the pics.

so it's shorter in the front but still short of the rear ?

yea in the back is just a little and on the front u can also see that its a little short from the line. although the side skirts arent yet bolted on but that really shouldnt make a difference

no problem but hopefull roland or someone else can pitch in tomorrow on this and take a close up pic of their door moulding to compare it to mine and see how it is.

dont have a close up of mine but it looks just like that....you got it right on the money I would say

sweet so even the back should be like that a little bit away from the door line?
