Hey All,

I was wondering if anyone knows if the GT emblems on the side of the 2006 have locating pins or are they just glued to the car. I would like to remove them!

Thx in advance!

Thank you Gents! Appreciate the info!

There are two locating pins, and are the same as the "pony" badges, which I put on mine. To remove them, park the car outside in the heat, and use a cheap thin plastic putty knife to put a little tension on a corner. Be patient, and in a minute, it will start to pop loose.

Please don't use a knife on the car...one slip and you're going to the paint shop. Get a hair dryer, and heat up the tape behind the emblem. Then use fishing line or dental floss and slice through the back of the emblem. You'll have them off in minutes and no oops....

Plastic tools should be used. I used to use a couple of leftover Bondo spreaders. They're thin, wedge shaped and pretty flexible. They won't hurt anything. To clean up, try Goo-Gone.

Thanks all, I've done this type thing before! Was just hoping there wouldn't be any holes ;-)
