are the gt trink emblems the same as the fender emblems i have an 04 thats goa have the fenders repainted and i want to go with gt badges but all i am finding is trunk emblems that say can be used for fenders but i just need to verify this

2004 GT has "40th Anniversary" side emblems and a standard GT rear emblem.
2000-2003 GT has the same GT emblems on the side and rear. The only difference is the side emblems have posts to make for quick mounting, but they can be cut off.
When i had my GT, i ran the V6 emblems on the fenders and an explorer "V8" emblem on the trunk.
But to answer your post, the emblems are different. Go to a dealer if you want to get the correct fender emblems. They have a mounting post on the back to fit into the holes in the fenders.
