I have had my GT for about a year and 3 months now and am looking at a couple of mods and would like some feed back from anyone with experience on these parts. I already have a Borla cat-back on the car and a drop-in K&N w/ silencer removed. Until last week had a bbk cai. After reading some forms about the cai I removed it and now the car idles smoother and doesn't stummble at about 4200. Unfortunately, I've got the auto trans . I was thinking about getting:

Catted x-pipe probably (bassani or magnaflow?)

accufab t/b and pleumn (70mm or 75mm?)

Steeda timing adjuster

k&n fipk or volant cold air kit

What can yall offer for advice?

GEARS!!!!!! You will definitely feel the difference with the gears, especially in an auto. I would suggest a 4.10 gear ratio for an automatic.

A set of underdrive pullies wouldn't hurt either. But gears will give you the biggest gain you will feel.

Yup, I with these guys - go gears, you'll love em! Best bang for the buck - you'll wonder how you ever lived without them. 4.10s for the automatic. Figure on spending about $400 for parts and labor.
Then, IMO, I'd:
Accufab 70mm (75mm if you plan to S/C) and Accufab plenum.
C&L 85mm MAF and Trueflow tube or (if you plan to S/C) Pro M MAF and AFM Powerpipe
Bassani X pipe
Steeda Underdrive pulleys
Steeda Timing Adjuster (especially useful here in FL where you can dial it back a bit during the dog days of summer when its 90+ degrees and 90+% humidity, then crank it up for our couple months of 'winter' !
New pair of shades...

Now that we're on gears and automatics.. do you guys think it was a bad idea for me to go with the 3.90's on my 03 gt? (auto).. I didn't want to have my RPMs as high as the 4.10's while traveling freeway.. so.. I think I made the right decision.. what do you guys think? (I haven't got them installed yet, so I can't tell 1st hand how much of a difference I've gotten yet)

4:10s, 4:10s, 4:10s!!!
I hear a chip is awsome for the autos too, but you might want to get more mods under your belt first. It's really supposed to help the shifts.

Gears - pulleys - T/B & Plenum together - Long Tubes & Mid Pipe of your choice (no cats) - Chip(won't need MIL Elim for no cats or Timing Adjuster...all done with the chip.

That's my 2 censt for a good starting point...

Gears are a little too hard core for me at this point. Why is it that people only suggest the 75mm t/b for supercharged applications. Shouldn't it be the bigger the better , with it flowing more air=more power? Does any one have Any ideas to make my borlas scream?
