i have a bbk o/r h-pipe and it bolted up with no problem, and i bought it used for 100 bucks.. i bought my 40 series flowmasters for 140 bucks and had them welded in. with that setup my car is loud and sounds really good..

as far as other brands or other setups i cant say anything about them.im not firmiliar with the others stuff.there could be better setups

xD They charged you 125 bucks for an X-pipe install?! It takes like half an hour man!

What year mustang do you have? Exhaust is nice I have a FRPP shortie headers (dont waste your money on shorties), MAC O/R H-pipe (one of the best mods I have done), and flowmaster American Thundercatback. Has a nice deep rumble to it. Link to my exhaust video is on my car domain page.

I have a 98 Gt i am leaning toward either Borla or SLP right now and some new pipes i think and H-pipe, i like the SlP for the sound and technology behind the muffler piece

Borla and SLP both have awesome performance. Personally I love the sound of the original Borla catback not the stingers. I hate SLP loud and obnoxious with no tone. If you want to go H-pipe go with Borla. If you are really concerned with performance look into the Borla XS mufflers probably the best performing mufflers on the market.

Don't waste your money on a cat-back just yet. I installed a cat-back and my low-end suffered a little since I had already installed a K&N FIPK in my 96 vert. Get an aftermarket X or H pipe instead.

I concur. The catback isnt nearly as important as a new mid-pipe. If you dont have to worry about emissions or dont mind swapping the stock back on go for an off road H or X.

Really no pros and cons to each seperate one. Pros of both of them would be increased performance and louder tone. X will give you a more raspy tone while the H will you give a more muscle car rumble tone. Only cons to the O/R midpipes is you will need MIL's to turn off the check engine light.

i'm running an off-road prochamber and 2-chamber flowmaster 40 series mufflers on my car.. it still has the factory pipe after the prochamber, the mufflers were just welded in.. it sounds great.. i have yet to have any problems, other than having to get the MIL Eliminators to get rid of the check engine light, since i dont have any cats..
