GT350 and GT500 Sold at Auction (Pics)

There was a beautiful pair of Shelby Mustangs for sale at the Shannons auction at the recent Sydney Motorshow in Australia. Both cars were expected to bring in top end bids, and as you'd expect these days did just that - The cars sold for $150,000 and $189,000 (AUD) respectively. There was also a 1968 HK Bathurst Monaro (an Aussie GM car) that sold for $225,000 :jaw: ! Seems like the Barrett Jackson style classic car prices are hitting Australia too.

That's about 115k and 145k in USD, respectively.

Funny that the 350 with the Paxton (which appears to be original) went for less than the 500 that has been converted to right hand drive. I would think the conversion would hurt the value considerably, but I guess when you're driving on the wrong side of the road all the time you can look past that. :)
