I was looking through the locals and someone is trying to sell some GT40P's for 425 both brand new still in box. Would this be a good investment and what kinda power is there from these? thanx guy's
depends on what you want to do. 425 new is a pretty good price, lot of ppl making good power with gt40p's, with a good intake and cam and the rest of the boltons i'd say you'd probably see 260-290rwhp. Keep in mind you will need new headers if you buy them.
they are great heads. the only headers that you would really have problems with are equal lenghts. they will not fit. but most long tube and short tubes will work.
my friend has almost the same setup as me but he has ported trickflow heads, trickflow stage2 cam and an rpm intake. i pull away from him with my setup. my setup just seems to be real strong.
