I am installing the Trickflows spring replacement kit (part number 2500100). The supplied seat retainer gauge the gap height is 1.8" and trickflow requires the springs to be installed with a +.015 shim which equals 1.8 +.015. My question is, 1 of my exhaust ports is .030 short and has a gap of 1.770. I would like to avoid the machine shop - can I simply set all of my exhaust ports to 1.770 and call it a day? What would you recommend I do at this point
