they are extremely accurate, but run it at the track so that you have a baseline

I used an older one. I heard the newr ones are better.

The reason the mph is higher is because at the track, they clock your mph 20feet before the end, then again at the very end..and they average it. Thats how you get your mph. With the Gtech, they just take the mph at the end, so of course it will be higher.

They use an accelerometer for the accuracy.

Well, the graphic of those two look like the old Gtech for me, old techno also! No computer plug in, no race track lapping time compare, no best hp@tq shift light, no ect... ???

See the spec's on Gtech PRO RR... You can't compare it!

It's not really that, I'm just not a fan of GTech. I have personally seen better and more consistent results with the Tazzo unit, and I feel the Escort would do an even better job. However, I do agree the GTech has more features which are pretty cool.

Yeah... It's a questions of choice! I do a lot of lapping race track and for me it's a + with the RR... Because with my labtop inside my car, I can figure my progression and compare it! It's give me nice info about my driving... Where I'm to slow on the track and where I'm very fast? The lateral G tell me wish corner I can push more and wish are in the limit... So at the end, I have a incredible time! It's almost like a personel coaching staff's... It's a big, big fun!
