Guardsman Blue Paint

I'm planning on getting my mustang painted "Guardsman Blue" "Paint code F. Does any one here have their car painted that color, if so I would love to see some photos.

A lot of the white shelbys and clones have guardsman blue stripes.

I never knew there was a paint code for guardsman blue. When I was researching that color to paint my Cobra, what I picked up from the Cobra sites was that "guardsman blue" was whatever blue Shelby had around the shop, sometimes even mixing different blues from what was available. Word was that his blue cars seldom matched each other. Thats the story I got. I chose a PPG Viper blue, base coat, clear coat that I liked but probably didn't match Shelby's guardsman blue because his cars were never really one shade of blue. The Viper blue is also the same color I used for the stripes on my 66 and is very similiar to the blue on the #7 car picture posted by "entdoc". Regardless...the blue and white is a great color combination for these classics.

Thanks for all the photos. Jamison your car looks awesome. Where and what type of paint did you get and also what base and clear coat did you use.
