Lol, come on matt, the old iron-headed 289 that was in it went 13.3's, should I still pencil you in for a 14.1?

Are you spraying this engine? low 13's with an iron head 289 is awesome.

No spray, it was just a 289 with TRW hypers punched 30 over, 289 close chambered heads, 1.90 intake, 1.60 exhaust, crane extreme cam, other then that all the supporting stuff is the same thats on the new motor. Car weighs 2730 lbs that prolly helps. It ran 13.3 down to 13.1 sometimes. Stone cold reliable and consistent. It won alot of bracket finals for me.

Lol ok 14.1 it is, I'll pencil it in. Wheel spin is possible. But incorrect timing is prolly what will get me first.

Depending on comp. ratio and chassis mods as well as driving skill, I'd say probably 12.181 sec. at 290mph. Only if you have a 1.2 sec 60' light.

j/k sounds like it might be fast.
