Guys with 18"s (revisited) which tire brand would you go with???

I know you want wider but there is not much difference betweem 285 and 295. I was running BFG KDW's on all four but had to put the Nitto DR's on the back because of tire spin. Most of the brands are Ok just don't get those damn Kumo's

I had a Firebird try to out turn me in on a on ramp. Cant beat their dry grip and there awesome in the rain...thats why they have the funky tread pattern.

Gino, how long have you had those? I am curious about the longevity factor, I am 20-30 freeway miles each way to work. Im sure they have similiar treadwear numbers to the BFG's. hmmmm let me go check...

Yoko AVS sport = 180aa <--I'll bet those suckers do grip well.

BFG Comp T/A KD's = 200aa :semi shock:

Gooyear F1's = 220aa <--little bit better

I forget exactly when I put them on, but there's around 4000-6000 miles on them and they look fine.

Yes, there is plenty of grip to be had.

For look and grip, the 555R are the best but not all sizes are available...
Next choice are the BFG Geforce KD, nice fat blocs of rubber... Too bad the BFG drag radials only come in very few size option...

Those are similar to the Toyo T1-S's.....

Well I have 18x9-18x10 saleens and I'm on the sportlines. I'm running the 555 on front in 265/30 and I now have the DR 305/30 on back. I did have the knurl the fender skirt because it was rubbing on corners. Now I have no problems but the DR are only good for 10,000 . Hard on the pocket. Before I had the 555 on the rear though and I liked those pretty well. Those also come in 305/30. I promise you won't be disappointed with the stance.
