I use the Mach3 turbo w/ the mach3 shave gel. I shave against the grain and I never get any razor burn... but I would speculate this is due to me being diesel.

I got the Schick quattro and i loved it, then my friend had an extra brand new Gillette Fusion layin around and gave it to me. That razor is even better, and i use Barbasol Aloe. 2 great razors all in all.

I used my brother's Quattro, and I didn't care for it.
The little wire guards got in the way.

you guys do it all wrong. I bought a mirror that has a suction cup for the shower and has razor hangers. I do all my bodily cleaning first then before i get out tha shower I shave while the water is still running. trust me, it works and the beard will come right off with no pain. Its because the hot water and mist from showering softens the brissels.I find it much easier to shave in the shower vs. getting out and f...ing around gettin the sink all f...ed up.

I always make sure I get my razor hot by running it under hot water prior to shaving, and doing that between passes. Very smooth

I used to use the Mach 3, now I've swapped over to the motorized version of the Schick Quattro. Great razor!!! I also use edge shave gel with aloe to moisturize. I’ve found it to be much better than the Gillette stuff.

....the big secret to a close shave with reduced irritation......soak your face in warm water (either in the shower, or with a warm face cloth) for 5-10 minutes before hand. It softens the hair, cleans away dirt and oil and opens up your facial pores. The hair practically falls right off when you run the razor across it.

I use a Conair electric razor, like the kind barber shops have..........no razor burn at all, just set the guard as to how close you want it and voila.

I get serious razor burn too. I use barbasol (laugh all you want, it's awesome) and a Gillette Fusion. I also HAVE to shave in the shower. Makes life a lot easier. But I also shave my head so I go through a LOT of shaving cream and a LOT of razors.
