stock pipes are 2.25" so when welding in mufflers did you all use 2.25 or 2.5 mufflers tubing. I mean what was easier for the welding process!?

I had the shop that did mine weld on 2.5" pipes to open them up a little bit.

A competent exhaust shop can make a 2.5" muffler fit 2.25" tubing.

I think I bought 2 1/4" Borlas and had them welded in. They were cheaper than the 2.5s too. A good welder will have no problem.

I've got 2.5" MAC's welded in. The guy at the shop just made some adapters to go from 2.25" to 2.5". The 2 1/4" should just weld straight on to the stock pipes without any adapters.

It's much easier just to get the whole catback, and be done with it

I welded in 2.25in flowmaster 40s. Sounds exactly like a flowmaster catback kit for about half the price, only problem is stock tailpipes are on the small side

I got 2.5" Spintechs welded in. It's really not a big deal for an exhaust shop. They can either stretch out the catback part or make the muffler openings smaller.
