lol, i was wonderin why he asked whether it was a stick or not!!

I'd say mid low 12's, ppl told me my combo, cobra intake, 1.90 performer RPM heads, and E cam, that i'd be high 12's, thats with 19 lb injectors and street tires, (been told, never happend) with traction you may be pushing high 11's, low 12's.... GOOD LUCK

Is the engine already built? If not, I hope you don't think thats fitting on a stock shortblock. 2.02 inline valve with that big cam aren't gonna fit. If its got a good aftermarket piston with deeper reliefs your fine.

Anyway, if it hooks hard, you'll run high 11's. Im thinking its gonna want a 6500 ish shift point.

pretty healthy bumpstick-you'll more than likely be slamming the stock rev limiter long before it stops pullin....

grn92lx they are stock pistons that i fly cut to the same size but not as deep as the reliefs on my je 347 pistons heads are not ready yet for me to check clearances. whats the cheapest way to override the factory rev limiter?

...i believe you have to get a tune/programmer to change the rev limit...

Cheapest way around the stock limiter is to buy a used ford motorsport rev extender for around $300 if you can find one.

Most ideal way is a tuning device like a tweecer, pms or whatever and with that you can change the limiter along with totally tuning the entire car from idle to WOT. I found my PMS used for $410 shipped so I grabbed it.

I bought it from a guy on www.stangtuning.com that was selling it. It is great for tuning your idle. Thats actually the main reason I bought it. Once you get the hang of it, its fairly easy to use. When I first installed it and figured it out, I fixed most of my idle issues that day.
