I am getting ready to do my H/C/I swap and have couple quick ?'s.

1. I am using TFS TW heads w/ 1.6 rr and TFS Street Heat intake manifold, do I need the tall valve covers or can I use stock ones?

2. I have a 1" phelonic spacer, do I need to use this with stock valve covers or just the tall ones?

Trying to figure out if I need to buy a cowl hood before I do my swap, cause I know if I use the 1" spacer that the intake will not fit under the hood.

Thanks for the help in advance.

You should be fine with the stock valve covers, but you might have to grind at the baffle to clear the rockers. If you stick with the stock valve covers, you can probably avoid using the spacer. You'll only know that once you mock it up, but I'm running the TFS valve covers and a Typhoon intake with no spacer under the stock hood of my 95.

+1 take the baffle plate out of the stock valve covers and you can run them without the spacer.you wont need a cowl.
