H-Pipe Install HELP QUICK!!!!

How do i get teh front o2 sensors off, fo i unclip them, or do i need to unscrew them. I cant see how i can get a wrench in there to unscrew them if thats what i have to do. Also what size is that head, the largest wrench ive got is a 3/4 and it dont fit them?? What gives. HELP QUICK!! THanks

Use an adjustable wrench that worked for me on my previous installs...Its pretty easy once you got some room to reomove it but its pretty tricky. Good luck

unplug them first so you will not damage the wires, should be about a 7/8....I think.

the size on that is a 22mm and yes you can just unscrew them but make sure you retighten them good but i would recommend just unclipping them

I unplugged the O2's, then removed H pipe. Set H pipe on bench then used a boxed end wrench to remove O2's. You can use an adjustable, I think I used a 7/8.

Ok guys, got the o2's out but now got another problem. Looks liek the guy lied to me this pipe didnt come off an 99-04, b/c the passenger side o2 bung is too far away from teh o2 sensor. i need about another 2 inches or wire. can i swap it out with another 02 sensor orr a different model that might be longer. or can i splice into those wires and try to redneck engineer it???? HELP PLEASE!!

can i plug one of my MIL eliminators into it to get the distance i need???

might be an 04' H pipe more than likely you will need O2 extensions

where do i get these extensions, can i get them from advance auto??? CAn someone post a pic of a MAC 04 Hpipe so i can try to compare. It had to hangers that i had to cut off along with alittel plate with two holes on the passenger side..



OK FOUND SOME ON MUSTANG TUNING.COM BUT THEY AR $40 CAN I GET THEM ANYWHERE ANY CHEAPER??

OK GOT A SET FROM MUSTANGTUNING.COM. USED THE STANGNET COUPON BUT THEY SAID THEY WERE FOR 2004, THEY'LL WORK WONT THEY???
