H PIPE INSTALL ?

my mechanic is installing an h pipe on my 97 gt it has the holes for the 4 o2 sensors that the stock exhaust had will i get a check engine light when this is installed?

is it catted or not? if no cats you more than likely will, maybe not at first but the light will come on

no cats just the h pipe into flowmasters. will I hurt anything doing this? Is there a fix to make the check engine light go out? thanks in advance

mil eliminators or get a programmer, it shouldnt hurt anything i dont think

what are mil eliminators? sorry for all the questions but i am a major bumb @ss when it comes to this stuff

No, Just 1 pair for the rear. The front o2's are for your air/fuel mixture, the rears or for the cats.

how about these ? i can remove the rear 02 sensors? I dont need them anyway because they are for the cats that i no longer have correct?

also i was wondering if the 4 02 sensors are all the same part or if there are differant ones for the front or rear?

Those would work but I would think you can get cheaper MIL eliminators from Dallas Mustang (www.dallasmustang.com) or Mustang Tuning ( www.mustangtuning.com) or something of that sort.

IF you have some money to spend, just get an Excal 2 programmer. It is expensive yes, but it does so much....It not only tunes, but also takes the place of MIL's and a speedcal if you plan on gears later on.
