Who makes the best fitting catted h-pipe for a 5.0L Fox with shorty headers? I have heard that the BBK's can fit horrible (and the cats don't last), and the Dynomax fit great-but only comes in 2.25".....

My BBK X pipe fit PERFECT!
I suppose their H is also a perfect fit.
Hey Bassani NOW has their X pipes made from an aluminized material which brings the cost down to the average H-pipe/x pipes cost!!
No more paying $600 bucks fot their pipes. Now around $387ish
Go to their web site and check it out!

Bassani does not make h-pipes. I have heard of some fitment issues with both bbk and mac. If my car dosen't sell soon here, I think I'm gonna try a bbk. Good luck on whatever you choose and let us know how it turns out for you.

H-Pipe no Cats Part # BBK-1507 $159.88
H-Pipe with Cats Part # BBK 1521 $369.88

It never ceases to amaze me how their are so many experts on this board that do not have a clue about what they are talking about.. These so called experts have cost me alot of money with their so called expertise. I just wish people would check their facts before posting....

Speaking of experts........do you think there is a reason that those part numbers start with BBK? Maybe they are made by BBK, and not Bassani.......

Avoid MAC. The cats rub against the rear crossmember when you have a Tremec 3550 or even an AOD. The hanger rods on the cats won't fit the brackets when you have a Tremec 3550. The 2 piece construction means that you have to use a clamp or do a post installation welding job to do to connect the "H" pipe together.

I have the MAC cat pipe, it hangs too low for some odd reason. And I mean low..., it's lower than the subframes by more than 1 inch..... Stupid two piece construction....
