My mom stopped at a dealership today to look at a Thunderbird LX at a dealership over here and while she was looking at that I checked out a 97 5 speed GT. They let me take it for a test drive with no salesman
Car was nice, exact same color and interior as the 95 I plan on picking up soon, only difference was the year and engine. Lotta miles too. It was a fun car to drive but I like the feel of the 302 way more than the 4.6 (price of modding doesn't help the 4.6 cause for me, either).
Only other thing I didn't like was that everytime I had to start from a stop the car would stall out or get bogged down, which kinda irked me. I tried varying amounts of clutch/throttle but nothing seemed to help. This never happened in my friends 98 GT or my other friends 02 GT with me driving, so I'm thinking something had to be wrong with it.
