The FRPP gears are made for our cars. The motive gears are made
with a weaker metal and the FRPP gears are made with a strong
metal.I have heard of people on other forums having problems with
the motie gears with gear whine and faster ring and pinion wear.
I wouldn't put those motive gears in my car on a bet.The FRPP ring
and pinion are proven to be the best on Ford cars period.
FRPP

Well motive offers two different grades for their gear one set is weaker while the other is alot stronger

If you go with motive be sure to get the stronger set

But I just had my motive 4.30s installed and they already whine with only a 1000 miles on the set

I would stick with FRPP

really? and why is that... a install kit is bearings, shims a pinion nut and crush sleeve.. all of them have too be of the same spec as any other made for the 8.8

i really think you need too walk away from this topic.
