Has anyone ever noticed the similarities between the 97+ Grand Prix, and our 94+ Stangs?

1. The tailights are shaped about the same.
2. The different colored panel under the rear bumper.
3. The headlight shape.
4. The grill opening.
5. The under grill opening. The center verticle bar connecting top to bottom.
6. And finally, the GT symbol, similar to the 84-86GT's.

Did they copy our design?

Maybe I just have too much time on my hands.

The wing on the cobras is also very similar to grand prix!
somebody play the twilight zone music.

I saw one with a Stalker (I think) bodykit and a Cobra R type wing.

...I had to look twice to verify it was Pontiac.

Edit: I think it was a Grand Am though.

I had a 2000 GP sitting in my garage next to my 'stang for 2 1/2 years and never noticed any similarities. But then again I don't notice when my wife gets her hair cut.

I think the AURORA has more similarities than a GP.

But from my rear view mirror at night, I always there is a COBRA on my tail but its just a GP.

AGREE ! and an Alero also has some similar details from the door to the rear.
