i seen on american muscle you get this auto tape with hood pins, or side scoops. does this stuff really stick when you are going 80 mphs down the highway, or if it gets wet and rubbed when u wash your car? and is it bad for your paint? any info would be great! thanks!

The CDC duck tail spoiler on my son's 06 was held on with a combination of a few bolts and the tape, and it held up well. Also had it holding on the side skirts on the 91 I parted out. It seemed very solid there. You would be surprised how much of that stuff holds new cars together. Make sure you're getting good quality from a reputable vendor who will stand behind their material, and go for it.

The adhesive being on the paint won't harm it. The removal of the adhesive might require some finesse to avoid paint damage, and you might need to buff/polish the paint in the tape area to correct any dullness.

I can go 160mph at VIR on my GSXR 1000 with my GoPro held on by nothing more than the 3M tape mount stuck on my helmet. Today's adhesive's are not your run of the mill kind of stick on stuff.
