The G35 is a 350Z in disguise of a lux sport coupe. You should be able to take him.

actually there is a weight difference however it isn't as you would suspect..the 4 door sedan weighs 3336 pounds while the two door coupe weighs 3416 pounds...so if you took the sedan..you got the coupe no problem...by the way these are the numbers for the 2004 model year..what kind of numbers are you running on the track cause the g35s are supposed to be pretty fast?

My next car will be a G35 coupe. I freaking LOVE them. They are a mid-low 14 second car out of the box.

Well I tried to talk my wife into one. She loves them but we have a 5 year old boy and there's no room (DAMN!).

Anyway I raced one at the track. I have his numbers, 14.10 at 101 MPH. Later he got a 13.89 at 102 MPH. He had an AEM cold air kit and Stillen cat back.

I know what you mean Joe. I sat in the back and my head hit the roof, and there was no leg room... BUT I think a car seat would fit just fine and that's all I'll need for a few years. And no, my wife isn't even pregnant yet, but she wants to be. That's a quick little luxury sports car, I'd take it!!!

14.1?? I guess it must be the driver. I raced one not too long ago and had him beat by like 2 cars at the end of 4th.

i raced one awhile back before I had my underdrive pulleys and I was right on him the whole time up to 110... it wasnt at the track though :X, I think i could have taken him if i would have launched my car, right as he pulled up to the red light it turned green and he floored it and as soon as i realized it I went also but he was already going by me some so I wouldn't call it a very fair race, they are pretty fast though, rated at 280, 7 less than the 350Z

::also wasn't the best stickshift driver in the world if you know what I mean::.. i'm a lot better now, this was during the first few months of having the car

Vib, if it's for your wife, get the sedan. They are still great cars and you'll still have your Mustang and company car, if I remember correctly.

Those cars would nearly be the PERFECT car if they used the V8 from the Titan truck in them. With the V6, they're just close to perfection. I would love to have one of those.

Much nicer looking than the 350Z, IMO.

Or if they used twin turbos...

I agree, they are nothing to mess with if your car is somewhat stock. A little while back I encountered one while crusing around and he paced me and took off. The little sucker zipped off into the horizon like it was nothing. Of course I would of smoked him but I dont smoke every1 that rolls up. Alot of people like the G35 better, but I know know why. The 350z looks so much faster and cool looking. But the G35 is pimper on the inside.
