My mistake, it’s Sch 40. We use minimum of Sch 80 on 1” steel pipe at work so I defaulted to that above.

We did used 1” steel pipe outside on the compressor. It transitions to PVC once the airline goes through the wall.

There is a schedule 80 PVC, I have just never seen it or would know where to purchase it..

Buy once, cry once. Do it right and know that is one thing you will never have another problem with.
